Levi is 1 and a half!

I know this is out of order, but Levi had a half-birthday on Sunday! We celebrated with brownies and tried to get a good picture of him to hang up on the wall, but had a hard time. So, I decided to put a bunch of our photo attemtps on the blog since he's such a cute boy (I know I'm not biased at all).

Trying to blow out his candle.

I think that bag is bigger than he is!

A new truck to play with!

It was a hit!

He knew what to do.

And here's the photo shoot from two different days. He just doesn't want to sit still, look at the camera, and smile with his eyes open (we also had problems with shadows in the house-I'm definitely not a "photographer").

Valentine's Festivities

Sorry to anyone who check this blog regularly, hoping to see pics of the kids. We have been out of commission for a little while with the stomach bug last week. Daddy was gone and the 3 of us each had our turn with it. So, there was no picture taking and lots of movie watching around here. Thankfully, we are all better now, and have been able to do some Valentine-themed activites. Here are some pics from the fun.

Heart Hunts have been a big hit. Think Easter Egg hunt, but with hearts. Both kids love it.

After heart-hunting, Addie got to sort the hearts by color (hurrah for her knowing her colors finally!), then size. She did great!

Learning how to pour from the teapot to tea cups without spilling. She did much better than I anticipated. Only spilled when she got distracted and looked away while pouring.

Tea party with Addisyn-notice the girls dressed up in princess dresses for it. Also, the heart flowers on teh table were made by Addie-I just didn't get a picture to prove it.

Date with Daddy. Addie went on her first date last night. Daddy took her to dinner and they both had a blast. Daddy taught her what a boy should do for her on a date once she is old enough for that (not for a long time!). She came home and told me she got to drink water out of a straw and that boys open doors for girls on a date. Sounds good to me!

She better not get used to that on a first date...

We had heart-shaped cinnamon rolls for breakfast this morning...

They were a hit!

And heart-shaped sandwiches for lunch!

Sporting the pink bib.

I checked the mail, and Addie and Levi each had something from Pops and Dottie. They were excited to open it!

Levi loved his Winnie-the-pooh Valentine,

and Addie loves her "angel" Valentine!
