Rice Cereal

It is hard to believe, but Levi is already (almost) 5 months old! We were told at his 4-month doctor's appointment that he could start rice cereal anytime. Since Christmas was approaching at the time and we were going to be traveling, we decided to wait until we got back home to start him on it. So, Levi had rice cereal for the first time about a week and a half ago. Initially, he didn't know what to do and just spit a lot of it out. The following couple of days, he seemed to eat some, but after that, he has hated it. The boy is a mover, which makes it nearly impossible to get something (like a spoon) in his mouth if he doesn't want it. He has come very close to getting out of his Bumbo seat, trying to get away from the spoon full of rice cereal. I think we are ready to forget the rice cereal and start him on baby food, in hopes that he will like that better.
