Uncle Corey and Aunt Deborah

Uncle Corey and Aunt Deborah came down to meet Levi and hang out with Addie (and their parents, I guess-we all know they really came to see the kids) last weekend. We had a good time with them and are glad they were able to come for a couple days. They have a sweet camera and are great photographers and were generous enough to take (and share) lots of pictures of the kids. So, I am going to share some of our favorites.

On Sunday, we decided to go to church for the first time since having Levi. We left a little late, but were glad we were able to go. I think this Sunday we'll try making it for both services-we'll see how it goes. It is definitely harder to get 2 kids ready to get out the door in the morning than 1...seemingly more than twice as hard, though!

Addie loves to show off her belly button anytime she is able...this dress made it very easy for her to do:
Levi seems to be growing up so fast. He was 4 weeks old yesterday. Here he is snuggled up with Aunt Deborah:
He really likes to sleep while being held...I guess just like most babies:
We went to a few different waterfalls since the weather was so nice out. Levi wasn't too impressed:
Deborah with her hands full:
Addie is definitely getting too big to be carried this way...we are going to have to start shopping for a backpack to carry her in and let her little brother be carried this way:
Uncle Corey was very helpful and carried Levi for most of the hiking:
This is probably our best family picture of 4 so far. It is really hard to get Addie to be still and to look at the camera. Normally, even attempting to get her to smile for the camera is pointless.
Riding with Daddy:
Walking back to the car:
Sleeping Levi:
Daddy and Addie love to kiss...the Angove way (on the lips). We'll see if Levi likes that as much as they do:
Our happy 17-month-old:
Levi is not yet smiling in response to people, but he smiles quite a bit in his sleep. We have never had the camera out when he has done this in the past, but Corey and Deborah were able to catch some smiles:
Another smile:
I was on my own with the kids during the day for the first time this week. I wasn't sure how it was going to go, but I think we had a really good week. It was tiring, and there was definitely at least one kid crying a lot of times, but we all survived. Most days, Addie and Levi napped at least for a little while at the same time, so that was nice. Hopefully we can keep that up. Addie seems to be teething, so she had a hard time going to bed some nights, but hopefully she'll pop some more teeth through soon (she still only has the bottom 2). At the rate she is getting teeth, we are fairly confident that at some point, Levi will have more teeth than her. We'll see.
