6 months old

We celebrated Levi's 1st half-birthday on Saturday! It seemed to have a theme, which was not planned...Thomas the tank engine. He got a Thomas toy from us that plays music as well as a Thomas train that moves and a Thomas book from Nana and Poppi. He (and Addie) love Thomas now! It's hard to believe Levi is already 6 months old. In some ways, it seems like we've had him forever, but in other ways, it seems like he was just born-time is weird like that. Anyways, we are thankful for our happy, healthy, smiley boy.

Thomas book:

Levi had his check-up at the doctor's office this morning. He weighed 13 lb. 15 oz. (3 %), 26 in. (25 %), and his head was 42.25 cm (10 %). He's a little guy. He is growing lengthwise great, but his weight is not continuing at the rate it used to be (he was closer to the 25 % last time we were there). We (his parents) think this is definitely due to his constant activity-if he is awake, he is moving, for the most part. The doctor is not worried about him, but recommended we try to get him eating solid foods consistently and hope to see him get some meat on his bones. She also said this may help with his sleeping through the night, which we are all for. So, hopefully we can convince him to eat some baby food and not to stop pooping (which is what happened last week when he was eating some baby food). Here is our happy boy!
